We really love music (as you probably do, too), which is why we began this business. We wanted to "spread the word" about artists and bands we like, especially blues musicians. And we wanted work that would be fun. So we created Blues Conspiracy.

Michael (a musician himself) started Blues Conspiracy in 1990, vending at music festivals (and a few fish fries, balloon races and rodeos) out of a tent and a little van. The business grew, he worked at more and bigger music festivals, and Joan quit her "day" job and joined him on-the-road full-time in 1998.

Many of you have probably seen our "mobile store" at one festival or fair or another. If that’s how you found this website, or if a friend told you, or if you just happened upon us, we hope you enjoy our website and the purchases you make here.

We are striving to make this a website that will provide you with items that are new, fun, and from some of your favorite artists. We carry a large inventory and should be able to fill most of your orders quickly out of our own stock. We are striving to be "different from the other guys" by having the items on-hand and sending them to you quickly. And, if there’s something that you want that you don’t see available on our site, please let us know . . . we have a lot of things in inventory that haven’t yet been listed on our site, and what we don’t have we can probably get for you. If you’ve seen us on the road and want a certain dress or necklace or sticker (or whatever) that we had, just e-mail us and we’ll try to satisfy. We have a couple of goals . . . not just making a living, but also providing you with the merchandise that will make you happy.
